FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How do I qualify for the Drive For Free program?
To be eligible for the Drive For Free program, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. You must be a citizen or permanent resident of one of the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Philippines or France. Acceptance for the free car or paid driving position is solely up to the discretion of the Sponsoring Company. Acceptance is based on the applicant's area of residence and/or employment, driving habits and driving record. DriveForFreeToday.com does not supply cars, select applicants, provide employment and cannot guarantee that you will be accepted by one of the Sponsoring Companies to drive one of their vehicles. DriveForFreeToday.com only provides the tools to access the database of Sponsoring Companies. You may access the corporate database and apply for a vehicle as often as you choose.

2. What if I already have a car?
If you are chosen by a Sponsoring Company to drive one of their cars, it must be driven frequently. The Sponsoring Company will provide specific terms and conditions when they offer you a position in the program. You may also choose to accept a monthly payment for driving your own car with corporate advertising affixed to it. For tax purposes, United States residents are compensated as independent contractors.

3. Who takes care of maintenance and/or repairs?
If you are selected to receive a new car, if will be under warranty. However, it will be your responsibility to perform regular maintenance on the car (such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.). If you are paid to drive your own car, it is your responsibility to maintain your vehicle. All selected drivers are required to have insurance on the vehicle, which will be paid for by the selected driver and not the Sponsoring Company. The responsibility for insurance as well as car repairs, in the event of a break-down or collision, is detailed in the terms and conditions provided by the Sponsoring Company. Sponsoring Companies often assist in getting a damaged car back on the road as soon as possible.

4. How long does it take to get a car?
If you are selected to receive a new car, how soon you receive the vehicle depends on the Sponsoring Company's needs and car availability.

5. Do I have to return the car?
You are not the owner of the vehicle. The car belongs to the Sponsoring Company at all times. At the end of your contractual agreement (usually 3 to 5 years) with the Sponsoring Company, you may have the option of purchasing the car you have driven at a discounted price. However, this is between you and the Sponsoring Company. If you return the car after your contract expires, you may apply for another car.

6. What do we offer you for the 30 day membership fee?
We offer you links to companies who help place people in free cars to drive. We cannot guarantee that any company will accept you for their program.

7. What is expected of me as a driver?
You are required to maintain a valid driver’s license and car insurance as well as to comply with all terms and conditions of your contract with the Sponsoring Company. Your main job is to drive the car often so it is frequently seen. This may require a change in your current driving habits.

8. How does the company know if I'm driving the car?
A Global Positioning System (GPS) is generally placed in the car to ensure that the car is not driven out of areas deemed acceptable by the Sponsoring Company, as set forth in the terms and conditions of your contract with the Sponsoring Company.

9. How do I know if I will be getting a car?
If you are selected for the Drive For Free program, you will be notified by the Sponsoring Company by phone or email. You will receive a contract describing all of the terms and conditions of your agreement at that time. You will also receive instructions on how and where to pick up the car. You are not obligated to accept the offer and it is recommended that you read all materials thoroughly before signing any contract.
